Originally I was not a fan of these 3 singles until I accepted the fact that artists have to grow

Thoughts on

Colder Quicker

 

 

• Are these guys still sad? -__-

• The boys are definitely changing up their sound

• Nothing like anything they’ve released so far (Somber)

• Takes a while to get hype

• Dope chorus that has that sad boy sound

• Is this song about failing to save someone and feeling regret?

• I hope that the next single is Mokena ( the track that I have predicted will be my favorite)

• I WILL GO CRAZY WHEN I HEAR THIS SONG LIveReal Friends kicking off the Vans Warped Tour Live Announcement 2016

 

Scared to Be Alone

 

• This intro is scary & dissonance came to mind

• Digging to this new sound

• A song about being a proactive

• Another song that I will be analyzing at 2 a.m

• Dan’s vocals are improving along with the music

• The second reference about pictures. (this seems to be a major theme of this album)

• Ok…this is not Mokena…but I’ll wait

• Favorite Lyric: Brave your life, Finding solutions, not making excuses

 

 

Mess

 

• The first upbeat single, one that will hype the crowd

• The mention of Lost Boy! A throwback to their third ep put yourself back together

• Sounds like their older sound.

• Brian is killing the drums and the guitar chords are so righteous

• Someone will get hurt moshing/ crowd surfing to this

• I hope I don’t accidentally hurt someone moshing to this

• I have given up hope that Mokena will be a single

• Favorite Lyrics: Last year I was a train wreck, now I am just a mess

 

I am starting to be where I need to be

Don’t need to be perfect, just happy

I’m still a lost boy
