50th Anniversary/PreWapred 2016

My people! I have missed you! My moshing, crowd surfing, skanking family! Now you guys know that the summer time is a huge time for us.WARPED TOUR! For any first time readers, Warped Tour happens every summer, bands from every genre of rock, punk, and sub-genre perform for fans in every state (in some states twice). I have been to Warped Tour for the last two years and I have had the time of my life every year. From being acknowledged by bands during their sets to almost passing out I give my all to every pit, set, and every crowd that I go to. This year’s lineup features a lot of great bands…of which I only know a few and of those few, I religiously listen to three of them. (You should check all of them) #DefendPopPunk

   1.Real Friends

Now you guys already know that I love Real Friends more than life itself, but with the release of their second full-length album, The Home Inside My Head. They have created an album that lacks character. TO EVERYONE WHO WILL BE AT THIS SET I WILL HAVE 0 CHILL. This will be my fourth time seeing Real Friends live and I can biasedly say that they have never put on a craptastic set. The hype is there as from the get go when Brian strikes those drums it is on! Dave & Eric killing the guitars! Kyle on the bass/ HYPING THE CROWD. Dan singing those sad boy lyrics. There is nothing more beautiful in the world and I suggest that you take part in it this year. Real Friends will be playing all summer long on Journey’s Right Foot Stage.

RF songs: Skin Deep. Late Nights In My Car.Anchor Down.Loose Ends.Mess.

   2.Knuckle Puck

ANOTHER ONE! Hailing from the same state as Real Friends, it is no surprise that these guys are freaking awesome. I have seen them live twice, once on The American Candy Tour with Real Friends ( I almost got thrown out the venue that night). The second time was last year at Warped, they once again put on a BOMB SHOW. The set last year was the jam-packed with so many fans shoving, shouting lyrics, and losing themselves in the moment. Knuckle Puck currently have three ep’s, The Weight That You Buried, While I Stay Secluded and a split with Neck Deep. My favorite memory from last year’s set was when Joe threw spirit fingers my way. Knuckle Puck will be performing all summer long on the Poseidon Stage.

KP songs: No Good. Pretense. Evergreen. But Why Would You Care? Your Back Porch. Untitled

  1.   The Story So Far

THE STORY SO FAR! BRUHHHH THESE GUYS CONSISTENTLY PUT OUT GREAT MUSIC. “Which The Story So Far album is your favorite?” Is a hard question for most fans to answer. Seriously I cannot explain how every album has its own place in pop punk history. The music is always tight, the highs and lows immediately get you hype. I have only seen The Story so Far live once, but that show was the most intense show that I have been privileged to attend. The room was packed together so tightly that you couldn’t move a finger. As soon as they took the stage and belted out Quicksand the crowd went in, moshing, crowd surfing, yelling lyrics. IT WAS AWESOME (if you follow me on snap chat (justusjermaine) then you know that their song Daughters is my hype song). Their song lyrics all hit home, my favorite TSSF lyric “Don’t paint me black when I used to be golden” from their song Clairvoyant. Their lead singer Parker Cannon is one of the best vocalists on the scene. The Story So Far will be performing all summer long on Journey’s Right Foot Stage. DO NOT ATTEND THIS SET IF YOU CAN’T TAKE A PUNCH!

TSSF songs: Daughters. How You Are. Empty Space. Right Here. Roam. Mt.Diablo
