Music is without a doubt a huge part of our world and even bigger part of the DMV. From the most aspiring soulful singers, trap rappers, street performers, and producers the truly city never sleeps.

Mannywellz is no exception from any of these artists. Born from two Nigerian parents, who undoubtedly gave him his impressive work ethic. Mannywellz first caught my eye when I began following his life on Instagram, not a day went by when he was not showing us the life of an artist. So it came to no surprise to me when he announced that he would soon be touring with Jidenna. A Nigerian superstar who broke onto the scene with his song classic man, and sense of style.

Hard work and prayer has gotten Mannywellz to this point. On January 12, 2017, he released his album SoulFro a seven-track album filled with stories of betrayal, matters of the heart, and coming of age questions. His album begins on a journey of questioning, takes you through stories of betrayal, and by the end, you’ll find yourself dancing with your hands up.
