Review: A rap album named Smile, is not the norm. But Davy Fresh has never prided himself on his ability to blend into the scene. His latest album, Smile is a twenty track album that is more of a confessional than anything else. Through this album Davy takes us through his life, with incredibly sad stories, relevant music, all the while showing us his versatility in content.

His track smile is a story of how hard it is to for him to keep a smile with all that he has been through. From sickly family members, the death of close members, and how people’s perception of him is skewed.

SMILE has eighteen more tracks on this album that you are sure to vibe with, I appreciate how Davy’s approach to rap is real. The album reminds me of conversations that we as black people have on the daily. With that, this album is sure to have songs that you will resonate with.
