Frankly if you haven’t heard of UK artist Cosmo Pyke yet, you are in luck. In my first ten toes deep review on an artist I will be covering Cosmo Pyke, a super retro indie swaggy artist whose music is refreshing and for love.
- Cosmo Pyke is from South London and considers himself to be patriotic to an extent, in an interview with MANDEM, he stated that he disagrees with the history of the country. Specifically the bullying and colonization of other countries in order to obtain jewels.
- His hobbies include creating art, making music, skateboarding and eating great foods.
- Cosmo Pyke has been compared to King Krule, another UK artists. On this subject, Cosmo Pyke says that he has not been inspired by King Krule and that the chords he plays are from old black jazz singers.
- He has recently appeared in Versace’s Versus AW 17 campaign and had a brief cameo in Frank Ocean’s Nike music video.
- Although he has appeared in fashion campaigns, Cosmo Pyke is adamant that his main focus is his music. In an interview with UPSTAGE he said stated that the modeling jobs do pay more, but, it’s not really the path that he wants to go down.

5.In an interview with MANDEM, Cosmo Pyke has described his music as a fusion between jazz, blues, hiphop, indie, and reggae. “Most people are surprised when I tell them what genre I do, they expect me be a rapper or something.”
- Cosmo has a grime crew called AMMI BOYS, who are taking off in the UK. Pyke says that he has always been involved in rap.

- Like to get high? So does Cosmo Pyke, in an interview with MANDEM he says that he’ll probably smoke weed forever.
- Cosmo Pyke wants to travel to Jamaica one day and feels most comfortable when he is at the skate park with his friends.
- Cosmo Pyke has joked that if his music career does not take off that he would dance behind UK grime artist Stormzy.
